After graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in Interior Architecture, Mikayla transitioned into a full-time design role at Home Girls after spending more than a year and a half with the company as an intern. Their background in Interior Architecture provided a strong foundation in design, with experience in adaptive reuse, furniture design, model making, and a variety of industry design software.
