Mikayla Zientek

Assitant Designer

After graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in Interior Architecture, Mikayla transitioned into a full-time design role at Home Girls after spending more than a year and a half with the company as an intern. Their background in Interior Architecture provided a strong foundation in design, with experience in adaptive reuse, furniture design, model making, and a variety of industry design software. Detail-oriented and highly skilled in creating accurate technical drawings, [Employee Name] supports the design process through the development of plans, elevations, and other project documentation. Passionate about creating spaces that feel welcoming and personal, they enjoy seeing each project evolve from concept to completion and take pride in helping homeowners create spaces where lasting memories are made.

What does “home” mean to you? Home is important to me because it is the place that holds your people and all of the little moments that make life feel like yours. It’s a warm, comforting space where you can host, gather, and just be together. It becomes a place that feels safe, familiar, and full of love.

• I have a twin brother, so I grew up with a built-in best friend.
