The Opera House project transformed the main living areas of this home with a focus on better function, storage, and updated finishes.
The kitchen was completely renovated, replacing dark slate flooring, builder-grade cabinetry, and an inefficient combined pantry and utility room. The new layout features custom cabinetry, quartzite countertops, and improved storage throughout.
In the living room, the fireplace was updated with custom built-in bookshelves, integrated lighting, and a fireplace surround finished in the same quartzite as the kitchen countertops for a cohesive look.
An unused corner between the kitchen and dining area was converted into a coffee bar complete with a pot filler for convenient everyday use.
The pantry and laundry room were separated to create a walk-in pantry with custom shelving and pull-out drawers for organized storage. The laundry room was redesigned to include a mud bench, creating a functional drop zone for the family.
The entryway was refreshed with checkerboard tile flooring, updated lighting, and a redesigned staircase, creating a welcoming first impression.
Every space was planned to improve the home's functionality while creating a cohesive design that fits the family's daily routine.
